Meet the Mansfield Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Mansfield
We’re a small crew by design. Smaller crews mean the technician who answers your questions is the same person turning the wrench on your gate. Since 2014, Adrian Vance has hired for two things: hands that know gate mechanics cold, and a habit of writing things down. Every member of our Mansfield team carries the same promise into every driveway in Tarrant County: a written price before a single part moves, a photo record of what we did, and a full year to call us back if anything isn’t right. That’s the whole job.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Vance Gate Repair for seven years, and he’s the one we send when a gate has stumped somebody else. He cut his teeth on commercial access-control installs in Dallas before coming to Mansfield, which means he thinks in wiring diagrams and limit-switch tolerances rather than guesswork. Marcus holds certifications on LiftMaster, DoorKing, and BFT systems, and he’s the first to tell a customer when a motor is “not quite dead, just committed to dying” before recommending a repair over a replacement. Outside work, he rebuilds old CB radios and claims the soldering keeps his hands steady. His van has a small magnetic tray for screws that he treats with the seriousness most people reserve for wallets.
Denise R., Senior Installer
Denise has been welding and setting gates with us since 2019, after a decade in metal fabrication shops around Fort Worth. She handles steel and ornamental iron equally well, which matters when a Mansfield homeowner wants a new driveway gate that matches 20-year-old fence posts. Denise specializes in field welding for hinge repairs and fabricating custom brackets when an off-the-shelf part won’t fit the existing gate geometry. She keeps a small notebook in her back pocket full of measurements and part numbers from every job, a habit she picked up on her first week and never dropped. Her detail on gate alignment is exact to the quarter inch, and she’s been known to wipe down the gate track before photographing the finished install “because the record should look like the work.”
Priya S., Service Coordinator
Priya is the voice on the phone when you call Vance Gate Repair Mansfield, at any hour of the day or night. She’s been coordinating our schedule and parts orders for five years, and she knows the difference between a gate that won’t open because of a dead battery and one that won’t open because of a snapped spring just from how a customer describes the sound. Priya is the one who makes sure every job has a written estimate prepared before the technician arrives and that every part number gets logged into the customer’s file before the technician leaves. She keeps a whiteboard in the office covered in magnet part numbers and gate photos from active jobs. If you ever call wondering what brand of opener is on your gate, Priya can usually tell you from our records faster than most people can find their car keys.
Ethan V., Apprentice Technician
Ethan joined the team two years ago as an apprentice, and he’s the one riding along on the larger installs and learning the diagnostic side of gate repair. He’s currently working through his manufacturer training for FAAC and Ghost Controls systems, which means he spends a lot of time with manuals open and a multimeter in his hand. Ethan grew up in Mansfield and knows the neighborhoods well enough to tell you which streets have gates with old Linear boards still running on borrowed time. He handles a lot of the photo documentation on job sites, and he’s developing a good eye for catching wiring issues before they become callback issues. When he’s not running parts or shadowing Marcus, he’s the one who reorganizes the truck shelving and labels the spare capacitor bins.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a slogan we hang on the wall. It’s four clauses that govern how the Mansfield team and every other Vance location works, on every single job, no matter how small. Clause 1 is the written price: the flat number is on paper and in your hand before any work starts. No vague ranges after the fact, no “it turned out to be more than we thought.” Clause 2 is the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If a repair isn’t holding up, we come back and make it right within a full year, at no charge. Clause 3 is evidence. Every visit ends with a photographed record of what we found, what we adjusted, what we replaced, and what we left behind, all documented and filed. Clause 4 is the live human on the phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because a gate that won’t close at 11 p.m. is not a problem that can wait for business hours. That standard is why Adrian started this company after years in commercial access control, and it’s the thing Marcus, Denise, Priya, and Ethan all answer to on every driveway they walk up in Mansfield. The brands on the motors vary: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, Mighty Mule. The documentation and the price transparency never do.
